I would have sworn I posted a comment to someone's journal this afternoon, but this evening I can't find it. Can you delete comments in your own journal? On a related topic, can you search for your own comments made in journals of others? I checked the friends posts above and below the post I thought I responded to, but no joy.
Of course, it's entirely possible in the aggravation of work today I wrote a draft and failed to click the "post this" button. Or perhaps I've finally gone completely out of my mind, ha-ha-ho-ho-hee-hee-ha-ha.

Yes.

Yes, you can delete comments in your own journal. When it comes in (in the mail message) you have the option to delete it. I don't know of any good search function, but I'm rather fire and forget. If you're out of your mind, may I have the lasagna in the freezer?

I don't know of any way to search for comments of one's own in another journal -- not easily anyway. You can search via web browser once you're on that journal comment page, but there isn't an LJ function which will fetch them for you.

If you go to the view where you can see the LJ toolbar -- I went to home and could see it, then click on journal there will be a menu at the end that says comments. It shows comments you made and that people made to your posts for 10 back with unpaid, 100 back with paid account.

I do that all the time - write the omment and then press "Browse" instead of "Post Comment". It's really aggrivating.
