Heading to Canada, eh?

GM and I going to Canada for the Known World Dance Symposium, and to take a few days of vacation. We’re spending a few days in Toronto, hopefuly going to the Royal Ontario Museum, a nearby shoe museum, and the Casa Loma castle, in-between bouts of eating poutine and hiking through the civic parks. Then we’re off for a whirlwind rental car run through the Shakespeare festival in Stratford. It looks very promising; we’ve got tickets for Julius Caesar, Bartholomew Fair and The Importance of Being Ernest. Have any of you been to the Stratford festival? I’ve love some recommendations of places to stay or eat. GM’s teaching one class for the KWDS, and I’m hoping to take the whole series on the Gresley Manuscript.

I'm a bit low on lasagne, but I made a modified bacon explosion (hopefully this one will kill us slowly, rather than the speedy death of the original) and I'll leave some in the freezer for you.
Please come and bother the cats as often as you like. There's some Big Bang Theory on the Tivo for you.

I'm sure we will. I can't wait to see TIoBErnest, it's one of my very favorite plays. I wish we could squeeze the Cyrano in, but alas tis not to be.

Stratford Shakespeare festival ideas

The festival is a lot of fun and Bartholomew Fair is making its North American debut, it looks like a lot of fun. This site StratfordFestivalReviews[dot]com has restaurant reviews and show reviews.
Pazzo is a good, fairly prices italian place. there are lots of others, you can even get Poutine on the main street!
