Tomorrow is the big day

I get my cast off tomorrow. I'll probably get some sort of walking cast put on, hopefully one of the Velcro ones you can take off to shower.
Thank you gormflaith, for shopping and helping out around the house. Thank you j_i_m_r, for bringing me groceries. Thank you joycebre, for lunches out and help around the house. Thanks also to GM, who has valiantly stepped up to do laundry and extra cooking.
I never thought I'd say this, but I can't wait to get back to the gym. And I really want to be able to drive my little stick-shift truck again; it looks so lonely covered in dust.

eta: my appt is at 3:30. I'll update when I get home.

my apt is at 3:30. I've been looking at the clock every 20 seconds since about 9 this morning. I've eaten lunch, showered and actually accomplished some work today, so I'm ready to go!
