tomato suggestions

I've been neglecting my garden this spring, but I finally cleared the herb patch this past weekend. Now I need to plant a tomato or two. Anybody have a suggesting for the best breed to buy? The herb patch only gets full sun for about 6 hours a day.  Typically I like to have a tomato every few days for  making bruschetta.

She's a very tomato-ee geek. About halfway down the page are some seeds she's sent out recently.

I've planted 6 Mamma Mia's and have a volunteer. Gotta get the corn in next.

Yeah. 6 Foot. I beleive it, I got one to 5' tall and 3' wide last year, without trying.

She also sells heirloom plants as well, there's a list on the site. Or you could try the sale in Cupertino on Saturday: http://www.mercurynews.com/lifestyle/ci_9141356

Or you could just hit up the Mt. View Farmer's Market. Or OSH...I bought mine at Home Despot.

My fave are Early Girls. Mid-sized round red tomatoes. I hear good things about Ace too, though I've never tried one.

Most tomato plants grow at least 5 feet tall--sometimes as much as 10 feet.

Big Boys and Early Girls are my favorites for full-size tomatoes. They are easy to get, easy to grow, and produce nicely.
