Looking again at the Southwark website I found a clipping from a 22March1929 newspaper describing an exhibit "... 'Fun at Table', 22/3/29, about mediaeval wooden tableware on display at the Cuming Museum - related to Mazer C01861, Livery Company beechwood cup C01868, and Trencher donated by Lovett, C01865; 'April Fool Jug', 1/4/1929, about Doulton puzzle jug C13067; ..." This may (or may not) confirm there's only one trencher in their collection. See also Edward Lovett (1852 - 1933) early collector of toys and amateur folklorist. I don't think I've seen him mentioned in connection with any other collection.
...and Trencher donated by Lovett, C01865
