Or not. Can YOU name a Supreme Court decision other than Roe v. Wade without looking it up? Before coffee? (In other words, you can copy the info from somewhere, but you should know the name already.)

I named Casey vs Planned Parenthood, Miranda vs Arizona , and Gore vs Flordia. Before coffee, but after diet coke, so I hope it still counts. My memories of the titles wasn't very acurate, it should be Planned Parenthood of Southeastern Pennsylvania, et al. v. Robert P. Casey, et al., Miranda v. Arizona (consolidated with Westover v. United States, Vignera v. New York, and California v. Stewart), and George W. Bush and Richard Cheney, Petitioners v. Albert Gore, Jr., et al.

I'd have thought all Americans could name Miranda, because it gets mentioned on so many TV shows, but it seems to be much less popular than Roe v Wade and Brown vs the School Board.
On another board someone brought up Mapp vs Ohio, which is also a pivitol case. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mapp_v._Ohio

I bet most folks don't know that Miranda Rights refers to a Supreme Court ruling.

Viz: "Like, rights are just something we have, you know?"
