Most of you probably know [livejournal.com profile] learnteachwas injured in a motorcycle accident last November. The resulting hospitalizations have resulted in a haystack of medical bills.

I'm sponsoring a fundraising lunch at the West Kingdom's October Crown Tournement on October 3rd.  Please come by for a sausage (or some vegetarian-friendly quiche). The lunch will be served from Trouble, the Crosston's black and yellow sunshade, somewhere slightly off the main fighting field.

If you would like to help with the lunch, please leave a comment here. I'm looking for help with making 25 quiches, 144 boiled eggs, 200 baggies of misc. sweets; shopping for apples, oranges, sausages, napkins, and bread;  and bringing water for 10-15 gallons of sekanjabin.

I can bring 5 gal good water; I will try to bake cookies too, but there is also the dinner munchies for two tables...making them is no problem, but transport might be.

I can't be there on Saturday, but I may be able to help ahead of time if you have a cooking evening or something. If there's any leftover quiche, I'll likely take some for Sunday breakfast if I make it up there for the meeting.

No problem. We might daytrip, so I'll find you when we get there. What's your ETSU (estimated time of set-up)?

I hope to get the Crosston Sunshare set-up on friday evening. Lunch is served from 11-2pm. If you could drop the eggs by no later than 10:30 (as they won't need much prep other than being put in a bowl or something) that would be great.
ThankyouThankyou, for some reason I've never been able to boil eggs properly and I was really _not_ looking forward to that task.
