A good weekend

It's amazing how quickly our "free" weekends fill up with things to do. Especially since next weekend is going to be spent entirely in the car.
Accomplishment: I got all the ceramics from Coronet washed, and packed. I even wrapped all the boxes in contact paper, so the next time I take them to a damp event I'll be less freaked out about putting the boxes on the grass. In a moment of inspiration, I took pictures of each group as they went into boxes so hopefully the next time I'm dead on my feet I can at least show some helpful person a picture and say "gather all these things into a group". I still have to get the pictures off the camera, and print them out. Maybe I'll get that done Tuesday evening.
Gardens: I got some weeding done on Saturday, and planted some more basil. GM pulled out the evil undead zombie lovage for me, so I could put in another tomato if I wanted. I might do that. The roses under the front window are about to bloom. On Sunday, I helped plant a garden for a friend who's unbendy from surgery. She lives in a duplex, so we ended up planting in the neighbor's yard which was weird. I'd been imagining a different arrangement, but I think it all worked. Gotta go where the sun and drip system is. We cleared about 10x15feet from weeds and put in tomatoes, cucumbers, basil, peppers and green beans. There's more weeds to be cleared, but

Music: I need to get two songs to the level of "amateur choir performance ready" by Saturday. I'm so out of practice it hurts. Singing alto is hard! I want the melody back!
Kids: GM's god-daughter and her younger brother came over for a visit on Saturday evening. Well-behaved children are still children, and my house is ill-prepared for children. I think I might stop by a thrift store and get some child-appropriate games for the next time. Candyland? Sorry? Battleship? If anybody knows what a good game for seven year old girl and a five year old boy is, I'd be happy for any clue.
Mitzvah for May: I'm thinking maybe I'll try barbeque, cornbread, green beans and twice-baked cheesey potatoes for my Hotel de Zink dinner.
