I knowe full well ye bent of ye bowe

I’m hoping the Cuming museum has a complete set, at the moment it’s hard to tell from their website.
Edited to add: this trencher is now on exhibit at the Southwark Heritage Centre and Walworth Library.

Date: 2014-09-04 04:14 pm (UTC)This may (or may not) confirm there's only one trencher in their collection. See also Edward Lovett (1852 - 1933) early collector of toys and amateur folklorist. I don't think I've seen him mentioned in connection with any other collection.
